“ It was my first visit, but my family's favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The food (beef chimi) was great. I wasn't a fan of the bean dip/salsa served with the chips because I don't care for beans, but the salsa bar more than made up for it. My dining partners (my lovely parents) love the bean dip. I'll go back when I'm in town. ”
“ Mayas is a family-favorite from day one! The staff are like family (kind, ask about your day, remember your name, and give you a hard time when you need it- ha!). In a community that has plenty of Mexican restaurants to choose from, Maya’s has a good balance of Americanized Mexican cuisine and authentic dishes for a diverse palated group. The dining experience is quaint (small dining room), great attention and timely service, and the food presentation is perfect. They support the local equine community and sport their horses and jockey’s on the wall and consistently display live horse racing on the television. In the horse racing capital of the region, it’s a perfect balance of community support and celebration. If you are a family that typically doesn’t order dessert, you will change your tune here! The owner makes homemade, Mexican dessert dishes that are mouthwatering! Made fresh and never frozen (unless it’s ice cream), you will enjoy a taste from home- made with love! ”
“ 10/10. It was a little strange that they bring refried beans (but like a creamy, cheesy refried beans) and not salsa with chips, but a fun, different twist. The food came fast and it was very busy, which is an obvious sign of popularity. ”
“ Best place to eat with great service! Definitely try out the tableside guac! It’s amazing!! ”
“ Bean dip was a pleasant free addition to the normal chips and salsa. Serve yourself your choice of 5 salsas from the salsa bar. Each salsa choice tasted fresh and flavorful. Dishes shown are the chimichanga and chili relleno. I added a little of the salsa verde to my rice before taking the picture. All good flavor and glad we stopped in. ”
“ Best margaritas in town. My personal favorite is their new hibiscus margarita... DELICIOUS! Food is always so good. 100 % recommend. Service is quick and polite always! ”
“ Cute hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Salsa bar was excellent and the bean dip set up was unique and delicious. Tried a carne en su jugo, supreme. ”
“ My food was absolutely fantastic! I’ve eaten here multiple times and loved everything that I’ve gotten! The staff is quick and they take care of all of their customers. I got Quesabirria on this trip and they were so stuffed that I couldn’t eat more than one! ”
